Registration Issues

Situation:	You are trying to register for courses and it will not let you. It is giving you the message that you have an advising hold.
What To Do:	Your specific advising areas are listed for you on your BearWeb account. To view your advising requirements go to - BearWeb... Registration...Term...Advisement & Contact Information.

Classification Restriction

Major Restriction

Situation:	You are trying to register for a class that is dedicated to students in that major.
What to Do:	Try registering for another section.

Situation:

You are not registering for the lecture and lab at the same time.

What to Do:

When you have a class that requires a lab, you must register for the lecture and lab both at the same time.

Registration Hold

Situation:	You are trying to register for courses and it will not let you. It is giving you the message that you have a registration hold.
What to Do:	To view your registration holds, log onto your BearWeb account and look under the "Student Services & Financial Aid" tab to see the holds you have that are preventing you from registering.
